Mr. Jassey was speaking to journalists during a press conference held at the Independence Stadium Conference Hall in Bakau on Thursday 7th December 2023.
‘‘Chartered fight will transport the Scorpions to Ivory Coast for the continent’s bi-annual biggest football showpiece,’’ Mr. Jassey said.
Mr. Jassey pointed out that a delegation will travel to Ivory Coast to inspect places where the national team and Gambian delegation will stay during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
He assured journalists that the national team and Gambian delegation will arrive in Ivory Coast early before the commencement of the continent’s biennial biggest football jamboree.
‘‘The national team and Gambian delegation will return home early,’’ Mr. Jassey pointed out.
