BST Galaxy beaten in GFF 2nd Tier

BST Galaxy FC were on Wednesday beaten during their week-22 fixtures of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League.

 

BST Galaxy were beaten 2-1 by The Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) during a game played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Modou Keita opened the scoring for BST Galaxy through the spot in the 13th minute but GPA came from behind to secure the maximum points through Saikou Sillah’s brace in the 39th and 73rd minutes respectively.

Both teams are leveled on the same points (36), with BSG Galaxy sitting 4th position after 21 games, while GPA occupy 5th position after 22 matches  

TMT FC defeated Latrikunda United 3-1 during a game played at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Reliable Yahya Ndong scored a brace for TMT in the 49th and 57th minute before Yaya Touray scored the third goal for them in the 90+1 minute.

Babou Saine scored L atrikunda United’s consolation goal in the 86th minute.

The win moved TMT back to the top of the table standing with 42 points while Latrikunda United sit 12th position with 26 points.   

Tallinding United beat Medical FC 2-1 during a game played at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.

Yusupha Bojang scored both goals for Tallinding United in the 45th and 50th minutes while Lamin Touray scored Medical’s goal in the 57th minute.

Tallinding United occupy 13th position with 25 points while Medical FC sit 11th position with 27 points.

Jam City defeated B4U Kiang West 1-0 during a game played at the Soma Mini Stadium.

Ebrima Camara scored the game’s only goal for Jam City in the 63rd minute.    

Jam City move to 6th position with 34 points while B4U Kiang West maintain second from bottom (17th) position with 21 points.
