Brikama Utd continue resurgent form

Brikama United FC have continued with their resurgent form in the Gambian Premier League after defeating the Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) 2-0 away in their week-18 fixture game played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on Saturday.

Young sensational Sarjo Bojang scored a brace (two goals) for Brikama United in the 72nd and 90+3 minutes following a goalless result in the first half.

The Sateba Boys, who started the league very slowly seem to now revive their form, while the Soldiers are losing their redeem in the league.

Brikama United, who now collected three consecutive maximum points, recorded their fifth win of the season, while GAF FC now suffered their fifth defeat of the league.

The West Coast Region-based team overall collected five wins, six draws and suffered seven defeats in 18 matches, while the Khaki Boys overall registered six victories, seven draws and suffered five losses in eighteen games.

The result move Brikama United away from the relegation zone to 12th position with 21 points, while GAF FC sit 6th position with 25 points.
