The Bakau-based club won the Kanifing Municipality Third Division League title in 2013 before playing against teams from Banjul and West Coast Region in the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Third Division triangular qualifiers.
They won Bombada, Roots and Starlight in the Third Division triangular qualifiers to gain promotion to the Second Division League despite losing to Gunjur United.
BK Milan gained promotion to The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) First Division League, season before last, after finishing fourth-place in the country’s second tier standings. They are currently playing their trades in the country’s top flight league after gaining promotion to the first division league, season before last.
Meanwhile, BK Milan were occupying one place above relegation zone in the 2019-2020 Division League standings before Gambia Football Federation (GFF) declared the league campaign null and void following the extension of state of public emergency by president Adama Barrow in a bid to control the spread of coronavirus in The Gambia.
