The Berending boys and the Daya boys were both beaten in their two opening group matches before their third group match.
Berending snatched the maximum points after notching two goals in the match to secure a slender 2-1 win over Daya.
Daya netted one goal in the match, which eventually proved to be a consolation for them.
The Daya boys now need to win their remaining group matches to stay in the 2022-2023 Approve Services (APS) sponsored-Kombo South District football tournament.
