The annual championship will attract athletics fanatics from Basse and other parts of The Gambia.
The championship will bring together Upper and Senior Secondary Schools across the country.
The schools will participate in various events during the course of the competition.
Heavy-weights such as Saint Augustine, Bottrop, Maahad and Gambia Senior Secondary Schools will face stiff from Nusrat, Sifoe and Presentation Senior Secondary Schools for this year’s inter-schools athletics championship trophy.
The Gambia athletic national team coach will use the 2025 inter-schools athletics championship to scout good athletes for the country’s athletics team.
