Meanwhile, Serrekunda West Zonal team booked their place in the final after eliminating arch rivals, Serrekunda East 4-2 on post-match penalty shootout following a goalless draw in regulation time during their semifinal encounter played at the Serrekunda East Mini-Stadium on Saturday.
The West side defeated the East side twice this season. The first was a 2-0 defeat during the KM preseason tournament. The second came in the semifinals of the zonals championship.
The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Super Nawetan tournament final between Serrekunda West and Bakau will be played on Saturday 31st December 2022 at the Serrekunda East Mini-Stadium.
Meanwhile, the third-place game of the Super Nawetan tournament between Serrekunda East and Sanyang will be played on Friday at the Serrekunda East Mini-Stadium.
