Assan Ceesay’ Osnabruck slips to Bochum in German 2nd Division

Gambian striker Assan Ceesay’s Osnabruck on Saturday slipped 2-0 at home to Bochum in the 2019-2020 German Second Division League.

Ceesay and his club were sitting three places above the relegation zone in the German second tier table with 35 points before their encounter with Bochum, who were occupying 8th place with 42 points.

They needed a victory to better their status in the league standings but slipped to Bochum 2-0 to remain three-places above safety in the German Second Division League with three more matches to go before the end of the league campaign.

Ceesay and his side require to win their remaining three league outings to stay in the German second tier for another season and avoid relegation to the third tier.
