All African Games: Gambia U-20 to leave Banjul today for Ghana

The Gambia U-20 team will today, Wednesday, 6th March 2024 leave Banjul for Ghana, as the All African Games, 2023 edges closer.

The Young Scorpions slipped to Real de Banjul 1-0 in their third and final warm up match played at the National Technical Training Centre in Old Yundum on Monday before travelling to Accra for the All African Games.

Striker Abdourahaman Badamosi was on the score sheet for Real de Banjul in the 42nd minute of the match from a prolific strike.

Coach Abdoulie Bojang will travel to Ghana with twenty-three (23) players for the All African Games, Accra 2023.

The Young Scorpions will hold series of training sessions to prepare themselves ready for the All African Games.

The Gambia U-20 team will rub shoulders with Benin in their opening group match of the All African Games, Accra 2023 on 8th March 2024 at 8pm.
