Ali Sowe nets fifth league goal for CSKA Sofia

Gambian international striker, Ali Sowe registered his fifth league goal after smashing a brilliant goal during CSKA Sofia 3-0 away win against Boetev Plovdiv during their week-fifteen fixtures of the Bulgarian First Division League played at the Sporten Kompleks Botev on Sunday.

The Serekunda-born player netted his side second goal after controlling the ball with his chest and beating the defender to send a low shot in the 58th minute.

Thibaut Vion opened the scoring for CSKA Sofia in the 20th minute. Bradley Mazikou scored the third goal in the 68th minute to makes it a comfortable win for the Sofia-based team.

The 26-year-old Scorpions striker has now scored eight goals overall for CSKA Sofia this season, five in the league and three in the Europa League.

Ali Sowe who became professional in 2013 has now help CSKA Sofia to 3rd position in the league with 27 points, while Botev Plovdiv occupies 9th position with 14 points after fourteen matches.
