The first phase of the scouting exercise featured First Division League players.
The second phase brought together players from the Second Division League and Regional Third Division in a rigorous training exercise.
Coach Abdoulie Bojang is set to announce a provisional squad of approximately 35 players that will be selected from the two phases of the training and incorporate those within the age bracket who participated in the All African Games in Accra.
A further assessment of these players will continue based on competition requirements as the Gambia continue to intensify preparations ahead of WAFU Zone A U-20 football tournament in September 2024.
Training for the provisional squad will resume on Monday, July 22nd 2024, at the National Technical Training Centre in Old Yundum at 8am.
