In addition to her work for women's rights, Mariama has devoted significant energy to advocating for children's rights. Her collaboration with the Child Protection Alliance and the Department of Gender, Children, and Social Welfare has furthered her impact in this critical area.
Currently, Mariama is nearing the completion of an intensive six-month course on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support at Gambia College. This additional expertise in psychosocial services will enable her to broaden her reach and enhance the support she provides to those in need.
