The Estate Agency ‘Rainbow Property and Construction Company’ is involved in property management, construction and leasing among others. The official opening of the agency was held at the company premises along the Sukuta-Jabang highway on Tuesday and attended by business partners, relatives and a cross section of the community.
Modou Lamin Darboe, Chief Executive Officer of the companydwelled on the significance of establishing the estate company.
“I take it as a social responsibility as a young person who has been into business for quite a while helping other companies grow, to start my own company and employ young people of this country,” he said.
According to him, his company will be different from existing real estate companies in the country. “I already know the problems real estate companies face and I am not an exception. However, I know their weaknesses; hence I will use those weaknesses as my strength to get to where I want to be,” he stated.
Darboe urged young people of the country to venture into entrepreneurship. “As young people, let us not give up on our dreams. Nobody will come from the sky and do it for us. We must be committed, focused with a view to enable us achieve our objectives. We have to take responsibility and be bold enough to face the challenges,” he further said.
“Life itself is a challenge, thus overcoming those challenges make life beautiful. I am not too rich to start my own company, but I was committed and hardworking in ensuring that I achieve my dream which is to own my own company. Therefore, it is not too late for anyone.”
Entrepreneurship, he continued, is not only important for business itself but also plays a major role in the economy of a country.
Kaddy Ceesay, mother of the young business entrepreneur, thanked Almighty Allah for his support and guidance in ensuring that his son achieved his dream of owning a company.
Yahya Jarju, a brother to Darboe described him as hardworking and committed to whatever he does. He added that he was notsurprisedto witness the opening of the company.
