Being his first work, the book is a collection of contemporary poems by the author, who derives his inspiration largely from the African culture and Pan-Africanism as the author is a loyal believer in the concept of Pan-Africanism.
As the name implies, the book is one that aims to guide readers, especially youngsters in The Gambia and beyond through poetry which over the years has been gaining some form of recognition and appreciation by young people in The Gambia.
The author said in an interview that the diction of the book is fair, as the language employed in the book is straightforward and simple, adding that readers will not need a dictionary by their side as they read the book.
He added that the book is a reflection of Gambian society, as it contains poems written on diverse issues as far as the Gambian society and culture is concerned.
The book is currently being distributed by major stores across the Greater Banjul Area.
