The veteran Gambian politician made the remarks at a recent presser convened by PDOIS to discuss the Senegal crises as well as look for ways to ease the situation in our sister nation, Senegal.
Deliberating over the issue, Mr Sallah said: “All Gambians should observe that there are two kinds of politics that can be in a country – politics of rivalry and politic of partnership.”
“The former leads to nothing but conflicts and violence. Everything can be said and everything can be done. However, as a Gambian citizen, when speaking about issues concerning Senegal, do not be part of that rivalry. Be part of those who are saying that Senegalese citizens should collaborate as partners, so that we assist them change perceptions and lead to collaboration,” he added.
