The students include a dozen international students from Cameroon and Ghana.
As customary, the event marked the 11th annual Call to the Bar, one of the series of activities marking the opening of the 2023 Legal Year.
Chief Justice Hassan B. Jallow said: “You are not there yet, you have another stage to go through but are almost there, and as we wish you success for graduation and call to the bar, we recognise, because you reach this stage through immense hard work, but again a lot of hard work lies ahead.”
“If you wish to be successful lawyers, be dedicated and work hardfor the rest of your careers,” he said.
Justice minister and Attorney General, Dawda A. Jallow underscored the nobility of the law profession and thus enjoined the aspiring attorneys and solicitors to uphold the principles and values of the profession.
