According to a medical report issued by the country’s main referal hospital, Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital (EFSTH), Abdourahman was treated for TB spondylosis before being referred to Dakar where he had series of investigations conducted and suspected to have a muscle release related ankylosis of his hip joints.
Mr. Jallow has been diagnosed with bilateral severe coxarthrosis since last year.
An examination revealed markedly reduced range of motion on both hips, painful and stiff Faber and Fabir. An X-ray investigation also showed severe osteoarthritis of both hip joints, which is obvious distress whilst walking.
Considering the severity of his hip joints, the medical board recommends that Abdourahman undergoes overseas treatment.
