The investment forum and business matching network session as well as the signing ceremony was held at Sir Dawda Kairaba Conference Center in Bijio.
Ousainou Senghore, Chief Executive Officer for GIPEA said they will collaborate and partner with the company both in The Gambia and in Turkey to facilitate development of their entrepreneurism and investment landscape.
The theme for the forum was “business opportunities for inclusive growth” and CEO Senghore said the forum is about linking businesses for shared prosperities.
Mehmet Koc, Chairman and Founder for Entrepreneurial Businessman Foundation said The Gambia has a good future for business, especially for the young generation interested in entrepreneurship.
He added that The Gambia can also be a good hub for Turkish companies to invest and develop good relations between the two countries.
"Turkish are now the biggest importers in the world, therefore the partnership will benefit both countries and ensure we grow together,” he stated.
