The travel agency is a private retailer or public service provider that deals in travel and tourism-related services to the general public from accommodation to other different kinds of travelling packages in various destinations.
A family business entity of the Dukuray family of Gambisara, the agency now seeks to offer services such as ‘Umra’ and air ticket sales, while plans are underway to include other services namely selling of hajj tickets, flight, reservation and even hotel booking.
In her inaugural address, Ceesay Dukuray, manager for Gambisara Travel Agency, expressed delight to be associated with the event, further expressing their resolve to ensure effective service delivery for the populace.
She added that her agency’s ultimate goal is to provide easy and safe travel for customers as well as to offer reasonable travel services outside the country.
“We have also come to contribute immensely to nation building.”
She called on all to work with her travel company so as to enhance social development.
Haji Dukuray, family member, disclosed that Gambisara Travel Agency is a family business that is meant to enhance social development.
Yusupha Jawara, programme chair said Gambisara Travel Agency is a legal company like any other travel agency in the country.
“I am calling on all Gambians and non-Gambians to partner with the company,” he urged.
Hamadi Magassy, a comedian, called on all Gambian to patronise the travel agency especially those who want to perform ‘Umra’.
