Banjul - The Gambia. The Secretary-General and Head of the Civil Service, Mrs. Salimata Touray, Cabinet Ministers, Permanent Secretaries and Senior Government Officials will attend the GICTA forum.

Significantly, GICTA’s broad-based mandate includes the implementation of The Gambia’s E-Government Plan, facilitation of a digital economy, provision of high-quality IT services to the Government, coordinating, promoting and monitoring state-related IT projects while ensuring standardisation of IT processes nationwide.

The sensitisation forum aims to inform and educate heads of government institutions on the objectives, powers and functions of GICTA.
