Amputee needs support

Muhammed Nasiru who was affected by an electrical shock and had both his two hands and legs amputated is seeking support.

The 22-year-old who is the first child and breadwinner of his family was a victim of electric shock while at work earlier this year.

Amie Cham, mother of Muhammed Nasiru said her first child was an electrician who was working when he was hit by an electric shock.

“Apart from God, Muhammed is my only hope in life who was trying to do everything for me before this devastating incident happened to him. I lost my husband (Muhammed’s father) and Muhammed is the one who was doing everything for me,” she said.

According to her, Muhammed has been taken everywhere in the country for medical treatment as well as to Senegal for further medical treatment before his hands and legs got amputated.

Amie Cham appealed for support from Gambians, non-Gambians, philanthropists and individuals to help her child and family.
