Receiving the Letters, Foreign Minister Tangara congratulated and welcomed Ms. Miranda Sende to The Gambia assuring the new Rep. and Country Director of the Government’s continuous support. He assured her of his open-door policy as far as work is concerned.
Ms. Sende thanked FM Tangara for the warm welcome and expressed optimism that she would work to strengthen the already cordial bond between the Government and WFP.
Permanent Secretary I of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Lang Yabou also reassured Ms. Sende of his fullest support during her tour of duty.
She was accompanied to the Foreign Ministry by Ms. Anta Kah, Partnerships Officer.
