A source in URR who spoke to The Point on the condition of anonymity confirmed the development, saying: “The man, believed to be in his 40s committed suicide by hanging himself at the outskirts of the village.”
“We don’t know the circumstances surrounding the suicide as of now. We just woke up and saw him hanging on the outskirts of the village,” Our source added.
Asked whether the deceased had any mental problem, the source said: “I can’t tell whether he had any mental problem or not. However, before this tragic incident, there was no sign of any mental issues.”
“Ebrima came to The Gambia when he was very young. Since then, he had been married and living with his wife and kids at Samba Tacko.”
