The gesture, is part of the company’s contribution in the fight against covid-19 pandemic in the country

At a brief presentation ceremony held at the hospital ground on Monday, Antoine Fayad, office manager at the Shyben A. Madi and Sons Company Ltd., said the donation is meant to strengthen and support the staff at the country’s main referral EFSTH in their effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus in the country.

Mr. Fayad explained that it is always important to help hospital staff more especially the frontline workers, who are working round the clock to make sure they combat the spread of coronavirus in The Gambia.

Buba Sanneh, Public Relations Officer (PRO) at the hospital commended Shyben A. Madi and Sons for the gesture, which he described as worthy and timely.

The donated items, he said, would go a long way in helping the staff at the hospital.

PRO Sanneh equally challenged other agencies to emulate the donors by supporting the hospital with food items so that the money that will be used to buy food stuff can be used to buy other essential drugs for the well-being of Gambians.
