Senegalese businessman Doro Gaye in trouble

The businessman, charged and placed in custody at the beginning of June, had organized his escape after being granted provisional release with judicial supervision less than a month after his incarceration. 

"To gain his freedom, [the accused] had signed a memorandum of understanding with the civil party [Zakiloulahi Sow], by paying an initial deposit of 250 million CFA francs, rewinds L'Observateur. In order to guarantee the payment of the balance, he had given the judge the title deeds of three apartments and a store located in Cité Keur Gorgui. In addition to these material guarantees, a medical report was added to the file, [certifying that] his state of health requires constant monitoring and is [therefore] not compatible with [prison]." 

The businessman had subsequently managed to leave the national territory via Bissau. End of the escape. Doro Gaye was caught in Paris, thanks to the cooperation between Senegal and France after the international arrest warrant issued against him by the Senegalese investigating judge in charge of his case.
