Senegal Gendarmerie arrests topnotch presenter Pape Cheikh Diallo over homosexuality

The Keur Massar Gendarmerie Company's Research Brigade arrested Pape Cheikh Diallo, presenter of the program "Quartier Général," yesterday, Friday, according to exclusive information obtained by Seneweb.

The TFM presenter is implicated in a large network of suspected homosexuals. His real name is Cheikh Ahmadou Tidiane Diallo, and he is 44 years old.

The presenter was denounced by banker Doudou Lamine Dieng after the latter's arrest. Dieng told investigators that he was living with the accused presenter. During his interrogation, Pape Cheikh Diallo confessed to the charges against him.

Twelve arrests, including seven HIV-positive individuals.

In total, the Keur Massar Research Brigade arrested twelve individuals, seven of whom are reportedly HIV-positive, according to Seneweb sources. All those implicated have been taken into custody for criminal conspiracy, unnatural acts involving the intentional transmission of HIV/AIDS through unprotected sex, and endangering the lives of others.

Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office, has been informed of the facts.

The investigation is ongoing. The Dakar Gendarmerie Legion, under the command of Colonel Malick Faye, is more determined than ever to combat urban delinquency and crime in all its forms.
