After a successful summer tour across Europe, Rebellion The Recaller, Gambia’s Legendary reggae icon, is hosting his debut Rebel Reggae Festival on 30 November 2024 at Serekunda East Stadium in the Gambia.

Recaller, the  winner  of the Best African Musician/Band in Germany at the AFRONEWS - Ortel Mobile African Community in Germany Awards (2021), with his label Inspired Ones, is set for  the festival, designed not only as a musical event but as a cultural experience that aims to inspire the younger generation and unite reggae fans from across the region and beyond.

The Rebel Reggae Festival is set to be an extraordinary celebration of Roots reggae and culture in The Gambia, led by none other than legendary Senegambian reggae artiste Rebellion the Recaller.

Featuring artistes supporting Rebellion The Recaller are Gambian based artistes like  ST, Brikama Boyo, Jizzle, Maha D Hammer, Sparkly Black, ENC, Miss Jobizz, Jah Micheal, Naty Easy, Darka D Real Mandingo, Musical Virus and many more backed by Ecstasy Band live band performance.  DJs are Fireman, Spytal, Zion Gate Sound, Legal Sound, Silver Mountain Sound, Country Man, and Lashes.

Rebellion The Recaller, a true icon in the world of reggae with an extensive international career, has envisioned the Rebel Reggae Festival as a way to give back to his loyal fans.

Known for his profound lyrics and uplifting performances, he has garnered a passionate following across the world. Through this festival, he plans to connect with his fans on a deeper level by sharing his unique artistry, which blends powerful messages with the soul-stirring sounds of reggae.

According to him, Rebel Reggae Festival will offer much more than music, featuring cultural workshops, storytelling, and interactive sessions aimed at educating the younger generation on the rich heritage of reggae and its deep ties to African roots.
