The visit by Mr. Modou Ceesay which comes barely a month following his appointment is to strengthen the partnership between NAO and the Assembly.
In a similar but separate engagement, the Executive Council of the University of The Gambia Students' Union (UTGSU) paid a courtesy call on Honourable Seedy S.K. Njie, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly on Wednesday.
The Students’ Union used the opportunity to thank the National Assembly for the successful completion of the first phase internship programme with the University. The aim of their visit was to solicit more support from the law-making institution on students’ programmes.
Hon. Njie thanked the students’ leadership for the visit and assured them of the unflinching support and consideration of the National Assembly. He encouraged them to serve as ambassadors to the University and be prepared to represent the country at all levels. Source: National Assembly
