The Commission started accepting nomination of candidates vying for councillorship since 14 March 2023 at its regional offices in Banjul, Kanifing, Brikama, Kerewan, Mansakonko, Janjanbureh and Basse – a process that ends today.
Meanwhile, the election for councillors is scheduled for April 15, while chairpersons and mayors will be 20 May 2023.
