The meeting covers a number of emerging topics, including cross-border regulatory interconnectivity framework and green Customs.
Delegates will discuss and agree in principle matters relating to Customs-port cooperation, digital transit, E-Commerce and the implementation of the WTO Trade facilitation agreement among others.
It would be noted that the Permanent Technical Committee was established to initiate technical studies with the object of enabling the Council to discharge its obligations.
The PTC is the 3rd highest body of the World Customs Organization where all technical issues of the WCO are tabled for discussion.
