GPF warns impounded vehicle owners to regularize, collect vehicles

Modou Musa Sisawo v5

The Gambia Police Force hereby informs the public that all vehicles currently impounded for the past six months, since the commencement of Operation Clear Main Roads and Highways at various locations—including the Kanifing Traffic Unit, Brusubi Traffic Unit, and Brikama Traffic Unit—must be regularized and collected by their owners.

Owners are required to fulfill the necessary requirements and retrieve their vehicles from police custody.

The deadline for collection has been extended by two weeks, now set for September 24, 2024.

This press release serves as a formal notice. Failure to comply by the extended deadline will result in the auctioning of the vehicles.

The Gambia Police Force anticipates your cooperation and commitment to adhering to traffic regulations, ensuring a smoother and safer traffic flow for all.
