God's glory is seen in His creation. It is not hidden, it is evident everywhere. "The whole earth is full of His glory." (Ps. 72:19)
God warned: "I will not yield my glory to another." (Isa. 48:11)
At the Transfiguration, where Jesus met with Moses (the Law) and Elijah (the Prophets) "There He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light." (Matt. 17:2) Peter, James and John witnessed the scene.
Impressed by what he beheld, Peter could not withhold himself from proposing to "put up three shelters - one for You,(Jesus), one for Moses, and one for Elijah". (Matt.17:4)
Just as he was uttering these words, a voice from the clouds said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him." (v.5) "The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being...." (Hebs. 1:3)
Apostle Peter's error was to have put both Moses and Elijah on the same pedestal with Jesus. For this reason, God's voice interrupted him, "Listen to Him" (Jesus).
Whose glory should we be projecting? That of Christ, of course.
"Christ in you, the hope of glory." (Col. 1:27)
