The prices of fuel, rice and cement have gone down effective 1 January 2026, according to Ministry of Finance sources quoted by West Coast Radio.
Diesel which was D85.60 per liter is now D84.60 per liter. Petrol which was D82.50 per liter is now D81.50 per liter, while Kerosene which was D73.17 per liter is now D68.51 per liter.
The 50kg bag of rice is now available at JAH oil outlets for D1650 per bag as wholesale and D1700 per bag as retail price, the source added.
Mr Mohamed Hydara, the MD of Jah Oil told West Coast Radio that their cement was available at D415 per bag in the market.
