Press Release
Esteemed Comrades, members of the APRC Party, and fellow Gambians,
In my capacity as the Second Deputy Party Leader of the Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC), a position bestowed upon me by the Former President of The Gambia, Founder, and Leader of the APRC Party, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Doctor Alh Yaya A.J.J Jammeh.

As we commence this New Year, I extend my warmest greetings and wishes for prosperity to the entire nation of The Gambia and its residents.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the APRC National Interim Executives, under the interim leadership of Hon. Yahya Tamba, the committed APRC militants, and supporters led by His Excellency Sheikh Professor Doctor Alhajie Yaya A.J.J Jammeh Babili Mansa.

I also extend my infinite love, respect, and gratitude to my family, mother, Aja Binta Kanyi, the APRC National Women Mobilizer Aja Nano Touray, my colleague Honorable Seedy Bojang, and all security and protocol personnel.

Special acknowledgments go to the APRC USA CHAPTER, GAMBIANS NEED JAMMEH BACK CHAT GROUP, KAFOTI KAFO under the leadership of the Iron Lady Awa Sanyang of Finland, and to all diaspora branches and forums of APRC Babili Mansa.

I offer my best wishes and prayers to the esteemed heroes of APRC, Baitullah Almaurous, and Yankuba Touray, seeking the Almighty's protection for them and their families.

I extend appreciation to the media houses, social media platforms, chat groups, and individuals for their efforts in distributing this message.

In my capacity as the Second Deputy Party Leader, I am steadfastly committed to preserving APRC's legacy and political standing under the able leadership of Babili Mansa.

To broaden our support base, I have undertaken numerous sensitization tours across the country, with the specific goal of engaging, assuring, and galvanizing support for our Party.

Engaging in such activities proactively is more sensible than waiting until election cycles to establish connections.

Effective communication remains our top priority. Crucial events and information ought to be addressed in a timely and precise manner to our militants, with verification elements in mind, to prevent opponents from misrepresenting our stories.

I am always open to genuine media platforms that prioritize truth telling, holding spot meetings, rallies, and community engagements to maximize outreach and maintain our support base nationwide, with the necessary approvals from relevant local authorities. In any democratic society as a whole these kinds of activities have to be promoted, supported, and safeguarded.

I now want to publicly address a few of the recent discussions that you might have heard about.

  1. ALLEGED LETTER OF EXPULSION FROM THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE FOR eight PROMINENT MEMBERS OF THE PARTY:

Disregard the press release suggesting the expulsion of myself and seven colleagues from our positions. These claims are baseless, and we will continue our duties within the party principles. Let us unite the Party instead of fostering division.

  1. REBRANDING THE PARTY AGENDA:

I will not endorse any attempt to alter, rename, or distort the image of APRC without direct instructions or advice from Babili Mansa.

  1. FAKE ALLEGATION ABOUT ALIGNMENT WITH PRESIDENT BARROW:

I vehemently deny allegations of any potential alignment with President Barrow. My loyalty lies with APRC, and I urge fellow Gambians to reject negative narratives and preserve the positive legacy left by Babili Mansa.

Despite challenges of being targeted with unfair commentary, misinformation, and baseless accusations, my commitment to APRC's values remains resolute.

  1. RECONCILIATION AND BUIDING BRIDGES BETWEEN FORMER INTERIM PARTY LEADER (FTJ) AND (YJT's) CURRENT INTERIM EXECUTIVES:

Regarding reconciliation with Fa Bakary Tombong Jatta, I emphasize its importance in achieving unity within APRC under the leadership of H.E. President Jammeh Babili.

I refrain from responding to unwarranted allegations out of respect for all citizens.

My focus is on working tirelessly for the APRC, for Babili Mansa, and for the greater good of The Gambia.

I call upon all Gambians to support reconciliation efforts within APRC and come join us for a better future.

In conclusion, I reaffirm my commitment to unifying APRC as one political family under the esteemed leadership of His Excellency Sheikh Professor Doctor Alhajie Yaya A.J.J Jammeh.

Thank you all for your time and attention.

May the Almighty bless The Gambia, Africa, and the world at large.

One Love, One Heart, One APRC, One Nation, One Gambia.

Kind Regards!

Hon. Habib Secka

Second Deputy Party Leader of the Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC)
