Cuban Ambassador presents credentials to Gambia’s foreign minister

The Cuban Ambassador to the Republic of The Gambia, Carmelina Ramirez Rodriguez, has presented the Copies of Style to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, Honourable Dr Mamadou Tangara, at the headquarters of the Gambian Foreign Ministry.
During the cordial meeting on Wednesday morning, both parties reaffirmed the will to continue strengthening the historic ties of solidarity, friendship and cooperation that unite Cuba and The Gambia.

Ambassador Carmelina Ramirez was accompanied by Laura E. Martinez Galindo, Third Secretary, as well as officials of the Gambian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The occasion was propitious to express gratitude for the permanent solidarity of the Gambian government in denouncing the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba, as well as to highlight the valuable contribution of the Cuban medical brigade that provides its services in the African.

Both parties agreed on the importance of continuing to deepen bilateral collaboration on the basis of mutual respect, South-South cooperation and shared commitment to the welfare of their peoples.
