Havana. - (Prensa Latina) The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, condemned on Saturday the attack perpetrated against former US President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, and ratified the historic position of condemnation of the Caribbean Island towards all forms of terrorism.

In a message posted on the social network The arms business and the escalation of political violence in the United States lead to incidents like the one that occurred over the weekend, he added.

Also the chancellor of the largest of the Antilles, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, condemned the attack against the probable candidate of the Republican Party for the presidential elections of the North American country, to be held next November.

According to press reports, Trump was shot during an event for his election campaign in Pennsylvania, while several television stations and media outlets recorded traces of blood on the right ear of the former White House tenant.

The former president lay on the stand for a few moments and was later removed from the stage by members of the Secret Service.

It was precisely Trump, a few days before the end of his term on January 20, 2021, who once again included Cuba in Washington's spurious list of countries sponsoring terrorism, knowing full well that the largest of the Antilles is a nation of peace and solidarity.

Numerous governments and national and international organizations from the five continents have demanded in recent weeks that the current White House regime of Joe Biden exclude the Caribbean Island from that arbitrary list.
