Covid-19 update: Senegal reports 89 positive cases

Senegalese Ministry of Health yesterday reported 89 positive bringing the total number of 1271 positive cases, 415 recovered, 10 deaths and 845 under treatment. Senegal has registered the highest number in the sub-region.

Lesotho is the only African country that has not registered COVID-19.

Gambia gets 2 new Covid-19 cases

Buba Darboe, programme manager, Directorate of Public Health Education and Promotion at the Ministry of Health told journalists in the daily briefing yesterday that the county has registered two new laboratory cases of covid-19, bringing the number to 22. Out of this total The Gambia has recorded one death so far.
