Barrow declares Muslim New Year as public holiday

The Senegalese Ministry of Health yesterday reported the registration of 285 new positive cases, bringing its total cases ever confirmed since March to 27, 365.
It also reported the registration of 7 new deaths.
Meanwhile, it has registered 22, 599 recoveries, 648 deaths while 4, 117 are currently under treatment.
In January there were 228 deaths representing 35% of total deaths since March 2020.
State House, Banjul, 4 November 2020: His Excellency Adama Barrow received a special envoy of President Umaru Sissoco Embalo of Guinea Bissau at the State House on Tuesday morning.
The chairman of the Truth, Reconciliation and Reparation Commission (TRRC), Dr. Lamin J. Sise has indicated that with the increase of the Covid-19 cases, the commission has suspended its hearings and will continue working on putting together some aspects of the final report.
Vice President Dr. Isatou Touray has been tested positive for covid-19, as President Adama Barrow also goes on two weeks self-isolation.
