Covid-19: 416 new cases registered

The Gambia registered 416 new cases of covid-19, according to the 415th national situation report since the confirmation of the first case of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in The Gambia, on the 16th March 2020.

No new COVID-19-related death has been registered. The total death still stands at 343 (crude case-fatality ratio, 3.18%)

The country has now recorded a total of 10,792 cases since March 2020.

118, 92, 103, and 103 cases were reported on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th January 2022 respectively.

Forty-nine (49) cases were discharged after at least 10 days from the day they tested positive but evaded institutional isolation and 13 from COVID-19 treatment centres.
