President Oligui Nguema’s visit marks another important milestone in the growing friendship and strategic partnership between The Gambia and Gabon. It reflects the shared commitment of both nations to deepen cooperation in investment, infrastructure development, housing, renewable energy, and economic transformation.

The Cornerstone Group is especially honored by this historic visit following the recent signing of a landmark US$600 million Public-Private Partnership (PPP) agreement between Cornerstone Gabon SA and the Government of Gabon for the construction of 10,000 affordable housing units. The project represents one of the largest private-sector housing initiatives in the region and underscores The Cornerstone Group’s commitment to supporting Africa’s sustainable development agenda.
