BICC signs MoU with Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association

Banjul International Convention Centre Limited (BICC) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association (EABA) via a virtual ceremony held on 24th November 2025.

The MoU was signed on behalf of BICC by The Chief Executive Officer, Amb. Yankuba Dibba and on behalf of EABA by its Chairman, Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi, marking a significant step toward expanding collaboration between the two institutions and strengthening collaborative initiatives across Africa.

The MoU reflects a shared commitment to deepening engagement and cooperation. Through this partnership, BICC and EABA will work jointly to advance their respective missions by facilitating knowledge exchange, capacity building, organising conferences and networking forums, supporting business development, and exploring opportunities for mutually beneficial investments.

This partnership represents an important step in reinforcing BICC’s role in positioning The Gambia as a regional hub for conferences, business tourism, and strategic partnerships that drive sustainable development.
