
The Committee is composed of representatives from these relevant Government institutions:
- The Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy;
- The Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs;
- The Ministry of Justice;
- The Ministry of Trade; Industry, Regional Integration and Employment;
- The Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA);
- The Gambia Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (GCCPC).
Members of this Committee will conduct a thorough and impartial review of the recent pricing in the telecommunications sector, basing their findings on evidence.
President Barrow’s decision to establish this Committee underscores his Government's dedication to transparent and consultative governance.
Accordingly, The Gambia Government acknowledges and recognizes the public's concerns and assures all Gambians that their interests, welfare, and rights regarding fair and affordable services will continuously be safeguarded.
