According to the particulars of claim, the plaintiff Badara Manneh, represented by Sainabou Sallah, owned a compound situated at Manjai Kunda, which the defendant (the APRC), a tenant was occupying as an office, costing Ten Thousand Dalasis (D10,000) per annum.
The particulars further revealed that the plaintiff has been requesting for APRC (the defendant) to hand over the keys over two months now but they locked down the said office and left with the keys.
However the landlord “is now claiming for the recovery of the sum of D16,000” being two months of rent arrears and subsequent months that might end along the trial and any further orders which the Court might deem fit to make.
The judicial source revealed that the plaintiff was desperately in need of the premises thus urged the court to intervene.
