Ambassador Bah pays courtesy call on Senegal’s ambassador to the United States

Washington, D.C. 30 November, 2022: The Ambassador of the Republic of The Gambia to the United States of America, His Excellency Momodou Lamin Bah, paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to the United States of America, His Excellency Mansour Elimane Kane at the Senegalese Embassy in Washington, D.C.

Following exchange of diplomatic pleasantries, the two ambassadors exchanged views on ways and means of strengthening cooperation between The Gambia and Senegal and the possibility of jointly creating a regional project that would address the economic needs of people in the region.

Ambassador Bah expressed the need for the two countries to continue standing together on the shared fundamental values of democracy, human rights, rule of law and the promotion of global peace and stability.

In view of the excellent bilateral ties that exist between The Gambia and Senegal as two natural neighbours with historical and cultural ties, Ambassador Bah felt the need to first call on Ambassador Mansour Elimane Kane.
