Young Commit FC have registered their first victory in the ongoing Diamond Fitness inter-mediated football tournament after thrashing Kulukochi 2-0 in the group B encounter at the Gunjur Upper Basic School playground on Sunday.

Young Commit FC opened the scoring through striker Sheriff Bajo in the 65th minute of the game from a long range strike, before substitute Sulayman Jammeh sealed victory for Young Commit FC in the dying minute of the game from a spectacular strike to give his side the needed maximum points.

Black Panthers FC maintained their hundred percent record in the championship after their hard-fought 3-2 win over Central Gunjur FC in group A on Friday.

Elsewhere, Young Nyokoyorr drew 1-1 with Young Oxford United in group A in the 3pm encounter on Saturday, while Young Gamcel FC drew 0-0 with England FC in the other group A encounter on the same day.

Young Commit FC are leading group B with 4 points in two games, Young Oxford United are 2nd position with 2 points in two games, Kulukochi FC and Young Nyokoyorr FC have taken 3rd position each with 1 point in one outing.

Black Panthers FC are leading group A with maximum 6 points in two games, while Central Gunjur are 2nd position in group A with 3 points in two games.
