Despite their narrow 1-0 defeat in the hands of Serrekunda United in final match of the second round of the 2008-09 GFA second division leagues, the Assistant Coach of Young Africans, Ousman Darboe, has hailed his boys for their hard work and commitment during the league, urging them to keep up the challenge.
Coach Darboe disclosed to Pointsport that the boys have played to the optimum, but they are unable to make it to the First Division.
He said that his side has suffered from "injuries problems" that contributed to their poor run in the league and he assured his fans that the team will certainly live up to expectations.
He also hailed the management of the team for giving them all the necessary support, but unfortunately things failed to materialise. He said they would do everything to ensure that the team gain promotion to top flight come next season.
