A woman was on Tuesday arraigned before Principal Magistrate Abeke of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court charged with murder.
Adama Kinteh, a native of Faraba village, was subsequently remanded in custody at the Mile 2 State Central Prison.
According to the particulars of offence, on 18 April 2011 at Faraba village in the Kombo East district of the West Coast Region, the accused person, Adama Kinteh, murdered one Sainey Njie, her own son by giving him a noxious substance.
The case was adjourned till 11 May 2011.
