One Peter Malou was Wednesday arraigned before Magistrate Bojang of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with willful damage to property.
The charge sheet read in court stated that the accused, Peter Malou, on 17 August 2013, at Old Jeswhang, in the Kanifing Municipality, willfully damaged a telephone set valued at D500, a plasma TV valued at D45,000, a window valued at D350, a centre table valued at D1,500 and three doors valued at D1,050, being the property of one Dominic Malou.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D50,000 with a Gambian surety who must swear to an affidavit of means and deposit an ID card.
Hearing was adjourned till 5 September 2013.
