West Coast Region 3rd Division League Review

Embattled Farato United will host Black &White of Berending village in the week-four fixtures of the 2014 West Coast Region third division league on Saturday 29 March 2014, at the Farato Football Field.

Farato United are currently languishing at the bottom of the league with zero points in two games with a game in hand against Nema United and will be placing to snatch a win against Black & White to bounce back after losing two consecutive fixtures against Jambanjelly United 2-0 at home and 2-0 away to Kombo Kerewan United in their previous fixtures to move away from relegation zone.

Black & White are mid-table with 2 points in three games after their goalless draw with Gunjur United and 1-all draw with Busumbala United in their previous two fixtures. They are now preparing for a win against struggling Farato United side to keep their title hopes alive.

Gunjur United will welcome New Yundum at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field. Gunjur United are 2nd place on the league table with 7 points in three games and are also unbeaten since the start of the league in early March 2014 and will be searching for a victory against the whipping New Yundum side to top league table and dump current league leaders Jambanjelly United to second place as well as fancying their chances of winning the league title.

New Yundum are currently struggling with a single point in two games with a game in hand against Brufut United, who are looking for a win against fancied Gunjur United, to move away from relegation zone. Gunjur United are currently unbeaten in the West Coast Region third division league.

Elsewhere, Sifoe United entertained Brikama at the Sifoe Football Field on the same day. Sifoe United are occupying 3rd place with 5 points in three games two points behind 1st and 2nd places Jambanjelly United and Gunjur, who have secured 7 points in three games.

Brikama are struggling with zero point in one game following their 2-1 defeat to Gunjur United a fortnight ago with two games in hand against Busmumbala United and Brufut United and will be coming all out for a win against Sifoe United to keep their chances of staying in the West Coast Region third division league next season.

On Sunday 30 March 2014, Foni Berefet will clash with Kombo Kerewan United at the Bullock Football Field.

Foni Berefet are mid-table with 2 points in three games after their goalless draw with New Yundum and 1-all draw with Nema United in their previous fixtures

Kombo Kerewan United are 4th place with 4 points in three games following their resounding 2-0 win over Farato United at the weekend and are hoping to earn a win against Foni Berefet to keep pressure on league leaders Jambanjelly United.

Brufut United will play against Nema United in the all-Kombo North derby at the Brufut Football Field.

Brufut United are 6th-place with 3 points in one game with two games in hand against New Yundum and Brikama.

Nema United are struggling with 1 point in two games with a game in hand against Farato United and will be expecting to bounce back following their 1-0 home defeat to Gunjur United at the weekend.

Elsewhere, Busumbala United will host Jambanjelly United in the other week-four fixtures at the Farato Football Field the same day.

Busumbala United are 5th place with 4 points in two games with a game in hand against Brikama, while Jambanjelly United are currently topping the league table on goal difference and will fight tooth and nail for a victory against Busumbala United to salvage their league at the top of the summit.
