West Coast Region 3rd Division heats up

Kombo Central outfit Brikama on Monday defeated Black & White of Berending village 1-0 in the week-six fixtures played in Brikama, to grab fourth place in the 2014 West Coast Region third division league table.

Monday’s slender win against Black &White has earned Brikama fourth place on the league table with 10 points in five games with a game in hand against relegation threatened New Yundum, who are currently struggling at the relegation zone with a single point in four games with two games in hand against Brufut United and Brikama respectively.

Kombo Kerewan United beat Jambanjelly United on the same score-line at the Kombo Kerewan Football Field on Sunday to secure third place on the league table with 11 points in six games two points behind current league leaders Gunjur United, who have bagged 13 points in six games.

Jambanjelly United are still 2nd place on the league table with 11 points in six games despite losing to Kombo Kerewan United 1-0 in their week-six fixtures played at the Kombo Kerewan Football Field weekend.

Brufut United also beat Farato United on the same score-line at the Farato Football Field same day to snatch fifth place on the league table with 9 points in four games with two games in hand against New Yundum and Foni Berefet respectively.

Black & White are mid-table with 6 points in six games, Farato United are struggling with 4 points in five games with a game in hand against Nema United.
